In a 2024 interview with Steve Goldbach (former US Chief Strategy offer at Deloitte) on The Provocateurs Podcast, Amy was asked about the “No Assholes” policy at Accompany:
I would say, leadership-style wise, it all started with wanting to be very deliberate about how we hired, how we promoted, how we retained, and how we let people go if they weren't a cultural fit. And we wanted to repel as many people as we attracted, and we wanted to literally put it as our number one value because we wanted to communicate, we will fire for this. If it turns out you are an asshole, we will take you off the team.
